Under the name EuroFood, the Ingrilli family has been independently growing, harvesting and selling citrus in Italy for five generations. They’re known all over Europe. Wanting to enter the highly commoditized US market as an independent rather than a store-brand supplier, they asked if we could help elevate them to be seen as a premium offering. The answer: Absolutely.

Ingrilli does things differently—unlike other citrus farmers, they pick their organic citrus in the morning, then bottle and ship that evening. It keeps the flavor fresher, brighter. And truly makes a difference in taste and quality. It’s that twist that inspired me to incorporate a citrus peel into the family name that became their new mark and the main visual that would represent the brand.

I took the reins from initial moodboarding through launch that wow’d buyers at each sales presentation; designing everything to be as custom and unique as the family tradition. I developed a custom numeral set to highlight different aspects of the products. And also designed their Organic and 100% Juice lines.

Ingrilli has successfully launched in the US and begun winning more and more shelf space in the produce aisle. They’ve also begun additional innovation work around sustainable freshness to further solidify the brand in the US. The brand consistently receives high praise online and from buyers—both for quality and branding.
