When designing, I try to follow a simple rule: great concepts dictate great design. Reverse the order and you may get a pretty picture, but that's not what you want. You want a kick ass final product that has been driven by a concept and delivers results. Whatever that may look like.
I have a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Indiana University, a minor in art history, and concentrations in sculpture, ceramics and photography. I am also a graduate of The Creative Circus with a concentration in design. I have studied pre-med, worked a few jobs, lived as a starving artist and have worn more than one name tag. All of this helps me design and I wouldn't trade the experiences for anything.
Well, almost anything.
Now, each time I take on a project I get to add new experiences. Though no name tag is required.
